When watching Utah left tackle Zane Beadles cleanly get out of his stance, reach the corner and redirect in space, it quickly becomes obvious that he has the athletic skill set and footwork needed to play on the blind side at the next level. However, Beadles stands only 6-4 and lacks overall length for the position, and the idea of bigger/longer defensive ends going one-on-one against him in the NFL is scary. I see him more as an offensive guard prospect who not only has the type of athleticism to mirror in pass protection, but is also coordinated enough to reach block inside and seal defenders from the football. He might not get the attention on draft day as some other big-name offensive linemen, but the guy certainly has the skill set to develop quickly into a starting-caliber guard in the NFL.
