Polamalu, Ayanbadejo fined $15k each for horse collar tackles
The NFL handed out three $15,000 fines in Sunday's Pittsburgh-Baltimore game, including one to Steelers safety Troy Polamalu for a horse collar tackle on the Ravens' Ray Rice.
According to ESPN.com, Polamalu said, "It definitely wasn't on purpose."
In addition to Polamalu, Baltimore's Brendan Ayanbadejo was hit with an equal fine for a horse collar tackleon on special teams.
Polamalu's Steelers teammate Ike Taylor was fined $15,000 for unnecessary roughness in the game as well.
