Police: Bills assistant coach Aaron Kromer punched boy in left eye
Arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery, Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer allegedly punched a boy in his left eye.
The Walton County Sheriff's department released a police report that alleged the 48-year-old was "yelling at the boys about using their beach chairs that they left by the beach access."
Per the report: "Aaron grabbed their fishing pole from them and threw their pole into the water. Aaron then pushed (alleged victim) to the ground and punched him in the face. Aaron then told the boys to return the chairs to where they found them. (Victim) stated that Aaron told him that if he reported him to police that he would kill his family."
Kromer went back to the residence and spoke to his son, Zachery, and talked to him about the chairs "and tried to help them locate their fishing pole before returning to the residence."
Per the report, police "determined that Kromer did willfully and intentionally strike (victim) against his will," and caused bodily harm "to his left eye."
Kromer remains employed by the Bills at this time. The team issued a statement Sunday that said: "We are aware of the report and in the process of gathering the facts.”
