Police checking surveillance cameras in Edelman case

Police are using surveillance video from the many cameras inside the Back Bay nightclub where New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was arrested early Tuesday morning.

According to the Boston Herald, police are hoping the video will provide some details and answers regarding Edelman's arrest for allegedly groping a woman inside the bar.

Edelman entered a not guilty plea to one count of indecent assault and battery and was order to stay away from the victim and the bar. Edelman's agent, Don Yee, said his client will fight the charges in the court system and not the court of public opinion or the media.

“The charges will be fought vigorously within the court system, instead of a rush to judgment elsewhere,” Yee told the newspaper.

Likewise, Patriots coach Bill Belichick declined comment on the matter as well.
