Pouncey, Davis could return for Dolphins
In a season filled with bad news and bad losses at 0-7, the Miami Dolphins got a little bit of good news on Wednesday.
Rookie center Mike Pouncey and cornerback Vontae Davis both returned to the practice field on Wednesday, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Pouncey has been bothered by a neck injury that forced him to leave Sunday's game against the New York Giants. But he indicated that he hopes to play Sunday against Kansas City.
"I just rested, getting ready for (today)," Pouncey said. "I'll be at practice (today). We'll see how things go, see how I feel out there.
"I'm feeling great right now, so I can't wait to get out there."
Davis' situation is a little more tenuous. He has missed three games with a hamstring problem, and his return Wednesday was limited. The Dolphins secondary, which does not have an interception this season, picked up cornerback Jonathan Wade this week and he could play this Sunday if Davis can't answer the bell.
