Pouncey says Incognito wants to play for Dolphins again

Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey says indefinitely suspended offensive guard Richie Incognito, his good friend, wants to play for the AFC East franchise again.

Incognito might not get that opportunity considering the bullying allegations levied against him by teammate Jonathan Martin and Incognito filing a grievance against the team.

Pouncey watched the Dolphins' win over the San Diego Chargers with Incognito with Pouncey missing the game with an illness.

"Me and him watched the game together at my house," Pouncey said. "He's doing really good. He's in good spirits. He wants to get back on this football team and wants to get back and play football. Richie Incognito, the football player, so that's the only thing he knows. He's missing it to death. He'll be alright."

The grievance hearing for Incognito is Thursday, seeking a return of lost wages, a return to the team or his outright release.

The NFL is conducting an investigation into the NFL locker room.

"We all spoke to them," Pouncey said. "Everything went very well. So we will see how it goes. We were in there for a while. They asked a bunch of questions. … It seemed like a long time but it probably wasn't. They got all the questions they wanted to get out of us and we gave them all the trustful answers."
