Quinn denies extra reps in Broncos' practice
Denver Broncos backup quarterback Brady Quinn told NFL.com's Jeff Darlington that he has not gotten any extra reps this week in preparation for Sunday's playoff game against Pittsburgh.
Profootballtalk.com reported that Quinn had split reps with starter Tim Tebow in practice, but Quinn told Darlington that he gets “maybe a couple of reps a day” with the starting offense and got two reps with the starters on Friday.
Tebow has struggled during the Broncos' three-game losing streak, leading to the thought that Quinn might be an option if Tebow has issues against the Steelers on Sunday.
