Quinn says he played with concussion
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn said Wednesday that he attempted to play through a concussion in a game two weeks ago against the Oakland Raiders, according to the Associated Press.
Quinn remembers having vision problems after he took a knee to the helmet and put on the wrong helmet while on the sidelines. Once back in the game, Quinn said he did not see Oakland linebacker Rolando McClain on a sack and had "tunnel vision" where he did not see the Raiders defensive backs on an interception. After that, he was taken out and replaced by Matt Cassel.
"That's why I tried to stay in the game, because it was the first opportunity for me in a while," said Quinn, speaking for the first time since the injury. "I tried to play through it, and that's my fault for not being smart about it."
