Raiders' Campbell OK, Boss could miss time

There was the old good news and bad news for the Oakland Raiders following their 17-3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night.

Quarterback Jason Campbell, who was kneed in the head and left the game, is fine, according to Raiders head coach Hue Jackson.

"It's a huge relief," Jackson said via Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times. "Anytime a guy goes out and needs to be checked, you want to make sure that the next day that everything is going to be OK. He's going to be well."

However, the news was not so good regarding starting tight end Kevin Boss, who is on a week-to-week basis after suffering a knee sprain when he took a helmet to the knee.
Boss is being counted on to fill the void left by free agent Zach Miller. Boss received $8 million guaranteed in a free agent contract this off-season.
