Raiders claim Ray-Ray Armstrong

The Oakland Raiders were awarded linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong off waivers from the St. Louis Rams.

Armstrong was cut by the Rams due to repeated penalties.

He had nine penalties last season as a rookie.

He played in every game and led the team with 12 special-teams tackles.

The Raiders placed linebacker Kaluka Maiava on injured reserve.
