Raiders promote linebacker Filomeatu to active roster
The Oakland Raiders have signed linebacker Bojay Filimoeatu to the active roster from the practice squad, as National Football Post reported on Friday.
They placed cornerback Taiwan Jones on injured reserve.
Filimoeatu originally signed with Oakland as an undrafted free agent in May, and was waived by the team at the end of training camp before signing to the practice squad two days later.
He started 26 games during two seasons at Utah State, recording 112 tackles, eight sacks, one interception and two forced fumble.
Last year, he rehabbed from a knee injury.
