Raiders re-sign Donald Penn

The Oakland Raiders re-signed veteran offensive tackle Donald Penn, retaining him before he could visit the New York Giants. Penn joins offensive guard Kelechi Osemele, a five-year, $60 million signing, on the Raiders' big offensive line. The line averages 6-4, 319 pounds, including Penn, center Rodney Hudson, guard Gabe Jackson and right tackle Austin Howard. Penn has started 140 consecutive games. He's a one-time Pro Bowl selection who's caught three touchdown passes for his career. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
