Raiders re-sign safety Nate Allen

Nate Allen is back with the Oakland Raiders. He was cut by the Raiders on Tuesday. He played in five games last season with three starts. He intercepted one pass. Allen signed a four-year, $23 million deal last year. He had a $4.9 million base salary due on March 12. The six-year veteran has played in 79 games with 72 starts over his career, totaling 394 tackles (268 solo), 11 interceptions, four sacks, 30 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Allen originally signed with Oakland as an unrestricted free agent in March 2015 following five seasons (2010-14) with the Philadelphia Eagles.
