Raiders rework Palmer's deal too

On Thursday, it was revealed that the Oakland Raiders had redone the contracts of Michael Huff and Richard Seymour in order to create some salary cap relief.

It turns out that quarterback Carson Palmer also reworked his deal to lower his $12.5 million base salary, the Raiders said in a tweet.

The Raiders continue to work to clean up their salary cap mess with the new league year and free agency on the horizon with rumors that other moves, such as the possible release of Kamerion Wimbley, may yet be made.
