Raiders rule out Terrelle Pryor, Matt McGloin to start

Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been ruled out for Sunday's game due to a sprained medial collateral ligament.

Undrafted rookie backup Matt McGloin split time with Pryor in practice this week and will now make his first NFL start against the Houston Texans. McGloin played collegiately at Penn State, arriving there as a walk-on.

McGloin completed 7 of 15 passes for 87 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago.

Pryor has been playing through the injury, but acknowledged this week that it's been bothering him a lot.
