The Oakland Raiders have announced the signing of cornerback Brandian Ross off the Green Bay Packers practice squad.

The Raiders have been short-handed at cornerback, losing Ron Bartell to a shoulder injury.

Ross began the season as a member of the Packers' 53-man roster, but was waived on Sept. 10 and re-signed to Green Bay's practice squad on Sept. 12. He spent all of 2011 on the Packers practice squad.
