Rams are sticking with quarterback Sam Bradford
The St. Louis Rams are sticking with quarterback Sam Bradford.
Newly-promoted offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti said Bradford is their guy.
And Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Bradford was consulted about having Cignetti take over as offensive coordinatr.
"That's correct, yes," Fisher said when asked if he wanted Bradford back. "He's been in the building since the season ended. He's doing well."
Bradford ended the season with a knee injury, but is making progress in his recovery.
The Rams do want to restructure Bradford's $12.985 million contract.
The Rams do want to bring in other quarterbacks, too.
"It's to have options," Fisher said. "We don't know what that looks like right now. We don't know if that's draft, if that's free agency, or what that looks like. But when we line up in September, we'll have somebody there."
