Rams defensive lineman Louis Trinca-Pasat tore ACL, MRI confirms

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Louis Trinca-Pasat tore his anterior cruciate ligament during practice, a magnetic resonance imaging exam confirmed. Trinca-Pasat is likely to be placed on injured reserve. Trinca-Pasat didn't suffer damage to his bones, medial collateral ligament or other supportive tissues and ligaments. Trinca-Pasat joined the Rams last year after going undrafted out of Iowa where he was a second-team All-Big Ten Conference selection. He had 6.5 sacks and 11.5 tackles for losses as a redshirt senior. The former Chicago high school standout chose Iowa over Wisconsin, Michigan State and Stanford.
