Rams fear torn ACL for Jake Long
The St. Louis Rams believe that offensive tackle Jake Long has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
“We’re suspecting that he has a torn ACL,” Rams coach Jeff Fisher said. “That was the doctor’s report.”
More testing will be conducted to confirm the injury, which was suffered early in the game when his knee buckled. He was carted off the field.
Rodger Saffold moved over to left tackle from right guard and Shelley Smith filled in at right guard.
