Rams fire defensive coordinator Tim Walton, Gregg Williams to replace him

The St. Louis Rams have fired defensive coordinator Tim Walton after one season.

According to ESPN, former Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will replace Walton.

The Rams finished 15th in total defense, 13th in coring defense.

"I would like to thank Tim for his hard work and contributions to our defense," Rams coach Jeff Fisher said in a statement. "I wish him well in the future.”
