Rams' Greg Reid arrested for probation violation

St. Louis Rams cornerback Greg Reid was arrested Saturday in Georgia for violating his probation.

According to the Valdosta, Ga., police department, Reid violated his probation from a 2012 arrest for possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.

Reid was signed by the Rams on March 22, one week before he was arrested.

The Rams know of Reid's arrest. He remains on the roster.

Reid played at Valdosta State after being kicked off the Florida State team.

He has a history of torn anterior cruciate ligaments.

Reid was signed following a private workout for the Rams.
