Rams IR Brady Quinn, Cortland Finnegan, activate McDonald, promote Pointer

The St. Louis Rams placed starting cornerback Cortland Finnegan on injured reserve due to an eye injury that sidelined him this week in practice.

Finnegan has one interception and 27 tackles this season.

Quarterback Brady Quinn was also placed on injured reserve.

The Rams activated safety T.J. McDonald from the injured reserve-designated to return list as he returns from a broken leg.

They also promoted safety Quinton Porter.
