Rams making productive use of time waiting on Jeff Fisher

They’re not playing the waiting game in St. Louis for Jeff Fisher.

The Rams are making real plans in the event Fisher eventually chooses the Miami Dolphins – or some other future that doesn’t include St. Louis.

The Rams completed two interviews on Thursday in Denver, meeting with Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski and Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.

Some believed Fisher would have made a decision by now but Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch speculates some issues he could be sorting through are non-economic. Fisher might desire control of the coaching staff as well as an ability to make decisions on staff members.

Thomas speculates a decision could wait until Monday if one doesn’t come today. The Rams continue working to look at other possibilities and they will interview New Orleans Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer today in San Francisco.

All of this overshadows a general manager search that is ongoing.
