Rams rule Sam Bradford out for Sunday
Most of the eyes in St. Louis are locked on a seventh game of the World Series tonight but we’re keeping the focus on the gridiron here.
Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has been ruled out for Sunday’s game with the New Orleans Saints at the Edward Jones Dome. He has a high ankle sprain and will be replaced by A.J. Feeley for the second consecutive week, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Unlike last week, the Rams didn’t even give Bradford a test this week to see if he could go.
Thomas also reported that wide receiver Mark Clayton, who is working to come off the physically unable to perform list, experienced a setback with a sore Achilles tendon this week. He is working his way back from knee surgery.
It’s just more hurdles for a Rams team that was expected to contend in the NFC West this season.
