Rams sign Nick Foles to two-year extension

The St. Louis Rams have signed quarterback Nick Foles to a two-year contract extension. The two years are in addition to the one year remaining the deal Foles originally signed as a rookie with the Eagles. He's under contract with the Rams through 2017. Foles was traded to the Rams from the Eagles to get Foles and a second-round draft pick. In 2013, Foles passed for 27 touchdown passes and only two interceptions, and finishing the year with a passer rating of 119.2. In 2014 he was less impressive, missing eight games and having a passer rating of just 81.4. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
