Rams worked out Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. today

The Los Angeles Rams worked out Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. today at their local prospect workout, according to a league source. Adams was "really impressive" and met extensively with the Rams coaching staff following the workout in Oxnard, Calif. Adams transferred to Oregon for his senior year after playing at Eastern Washington. Adams passed for 2,643 yards, 26 touchdowns and six interceptions in his lone season for the Ducks. Adams is 5-11, 200 pounds. He was an honorable-mention All-Pac 12 selection as the replacement for Marcus Mariota. Adams passed for 5,324 yards and 49 touchdowns and rushed for 1,263 yards and 19 touchdowns in his final two seasons at Bishop Allemany in Mission Hills, Calif. As a junior at Eastern Washington, Adams was an All-American selection Adams passed for 4,994 yards and 55 touchdowns as a sophomore. Adams was a freshman All-American.
