Randy Moss taking Vikings coaches inside Patriots
To the extent he can, Randy Moss is helping the Minnesota Vikings coaches prepare for their game Sunday against the New England Patriots.
Moss spent time with them on Tuesday going over both sides of the ball with the Patriots. Some coaches will tell you this time of inside look at an opponent from a player who just came from the other side can be very helpful. Others scoff at the idea because any signals the Patriots had when Moss was there have changed.
"He’s very articulate," Vikings coach Brad Childress said, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "He spent time with our coaches and did a great job with both our offense and defensive coaches. He did a good job. You never know what you’re going to get and how they have to play him. He at least had some insightfulness on both sides.”
As far as what Moss has to say about anything else, that is anybody’s best guess.
“I’ve got no questions or answers for you,” Moss said.
Perhaps soon the NFL will remind Moss of the media responsibilities that come with his job.
