Ravens grab McAdoo after supplemental draft
Michael McAdoo didn’t get picked in the supplemental draft on Monday, but once it was over, it didn’t take him long to find a landing spot.
McAdoo, a 6-7, 245-pound defensive end from the University of North Carolina, signed a free agent contract with the Baltimore Ravens, says Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.
The first thing the Ravens will have to do is figure out where the talented but green McAdoo fits. Is he a linebacker in a 3-4 or can he add enough weight to his frame to be a 4-3 defensive end.
“I like both positions. I like rushing the passer. It really doesn’t matter,” McAdoo said. “I just want to play football wherever they put me.”
McAdoo was in the supplemental draft after being ruled ineligible at North Carolina due to academic fraud.
