Ravens hammer out three-year extension for Joe Flacco

The Ravens hammered out a three-year contract extension with quarterback Joe Flacco. They lowered his $28.55 million salary-cap figure. Flacco's agent, Joe Linta, negotiated the deal at the Ravens' training complex to finish the contract. Flacco is still expected to be one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the game. Negotiations began at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis. Flacco was playing under a six-year, $120.6 million contract following Super Bowl XLVII. It was always understood that it was a three-year arrangement to be addressed again and now it has been.
