Ravens release Cousins, eight others
The Baltimore Ravens released nine players on Saturday, including their 2008, third-round pick Oniel Cousins, the team announced.
Cousins, a guard from Texas-El Paso, was never able to crack the Ravens lineup on the offensive line, and was let go in first cuts.
Others released by the Ravens included receiver Justin Harper, a seventh-round choice in 2009 from Virginia Tech, along with third-year tight end Jonathan Stupar, defensive tackle Cornell Banks, center Ryan Bartholomew, tackle Brady Bond, receiver Rodney Bradley, linebacker Leon Anthony and receiver Terrell Zachery.
