Ravens Sign Veteran Corner Kyle Arrington
In need of some proven depth at the cornerback position, the Ravens made a swift decision to swoop in and add a proven winner in the secondary.
After his release from the Patriots on Monday, slot cornerback Kyle Arrington agreed to a three-year deal with Baltimore on Thursday. The financial terms have yet to be announced.
Arrington, 28, had spent the past five seasons in New England, where the former undrafted free-agent built a reputation as one of the NFL's more productive slot cornerbacks. Since 2010, Arrington has only missed 2 games, and in 2011, he led the NFL with seven interceptions.
With Arrington's arrival, the Ravens' secondary becomes a more comfortable unit, especially with the return of Jimmy Smith, and the second-half revival of Lardarius Webb late in 2014.
