Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith returning for 2016 season

Baltimore Ravens veteran wide receiver Steve Smith is coming back for the 2016 season. Smith told the Ravens he wants to return, and he informed everyone else via his Twitter account. Smith has previously said that 2015 would be his final season, but he changed his mind. Smith is coming back from a torn right Achilles tendon. Smith is entering the final year of a three-year, $10.5 million contract. Smith celebrates his 37th birthday in May. Smith caught 46 passes for 670 yards and three touchdowns in seven games before getting hurt. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle
