Redskins add Bryant for depth at DT
The Washington Redskins added some depth for their defensive line as tackle Anthony Bright was signed.
The 28-year-old will join the mix with the defense expected to shift to a 3-4 scheme this season. Earlier this offseason, the Redskins added Maake Kemoeatu, who comes over from Carolina.
Bright is a seldom-used journeyman. He’s played in nine games over the last three seasons. Originally a sixth-round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he was on the practice squad and injured reserve with the New York Giants last season.
Whether or not Albert Haynesworth will play tackle for the Redskins this season remains to be seen.
