Redskins awarded Brandon Moore off waivers from Chiefs

The Washington Redskins were awarded defensive lineman Brandon Moore off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Moore is a 6-foot-5, 317-pounder who originally signed with the San Diego Chargers last year.

He spent most of the season on the Chargers' practice squad before being signed to the Denver Broncos' practice squad.

He was then cut by Denver.

Moore played one season at the University of Texas after transferring from East Mississippi Community College. Moore spent his first two collegiate seasons at Alabama.
