Redskins cut Chris Chester and Tracy Porter

The Washington Redskins cut offensive guard Chester Taylor and cornerback Tracy Porter.

Porter signed a two-year, $6 million deal last year. He had shoulder and hamstring injuries that limited him to three games, though. Chester started every game for the past four seasons. By cutting Chester, the Redskins will go with Spencer Long. They saved $4 million by cutting him. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
