Redskins cut receiver Devery Henderson

The Washington Redskins have released veteran wide receiver Devery Henderson.

Henderson is a former New Orleans Saints starter who caught 22 passes for 316 yards and one touchdown last season.

Henderson, 31, has had some strong seasons for the Saints, but didn't make much of an impression on the Redskins evidently.

Henderson has caught 245 career passes for 4,377 yards and 20 touchdowns for a 17.9 average per catch.

Henderson is a speedy former LSU standout who now reaches a career crossroads.
