Redskins' returner Brandon Banks wounded in fight

Washington Redskins return man Brandon Banks has been released from a D.C. hospital after being treated for superficial knife wounds, according to the Washington Post.

Banks, a Kansas State product who just completed his rookie season, was injured in a fight at The Park, a nightclub in D.C.

Banks and someone he was with got into an argument with a third man at about 3 a.m., according to the report, and the third man allegedly attacked them. The man Banks was with remains hospitalized in serious condition.

The Redskins said they are gathering information on the situation.
