Redskins rookie Bashaud Breeland cited for possession of marijuana

Washington Redskins rookie cornerback Bashaud Breeland was issued a citation for possession of marijuana at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Breeland got a summons for simple possession.

The Redskins said in a statement that they are "aware of the incident and we will not make any further comment.”

Breeland is a fourth-round draft pick from Clemson. He had six tackles in a preseason win over the New England Patriots last week.
