Redskins sign 10 undrafted rookies, cut David Gettis, Jake Rogers

The Washington Redskins have released former Carolina Panthers starting wide receiver David Gettis.

He caught 37 passes for 508 yards and three touchdowns in 2010.

Gettis is a former sixth-round draft pick with a history of knee problems. They also cut kicker Jake Rogers.

The Redskins also signed the following undrafted rookies: Tulane nose tackle Chris Davenport, Southern wide receiver Lee Doss, BYU wide receiver Cody Hoffman, Indiana wide receiver Kofi Hughes, Northwestern wide receiver Rashad Lawrence, Texas-El Paso tight end Kevin Perry, Southern Cal running back Silas Redd, Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees, North Dakota State defensive back Bryan Shepherd and Arkansas nose tackle Robert Thomas.
