Reggie Bush: Eventually the little brother grows up

Brandon Marshall ruffled some feathers by calling the Lions the Bears' little brother.

After all, the Lions just completed a regular season sweep over their divisional rival and probably didn't deserve to have their city's financial woes lumped into what the team is doing on the football field.

Reggie Bush, a former teammate of Marshall's in Miami, one-upped Marshall's comment when asked about it.

Perhaps the Lions were Chicago's little brother at one point. That doesn't mean it has to stay that way, Bush reasoned.

“You know what’s funny is that I have a little brother and growing up, I was always like the older brother, pushing him around a little bit, and now he’s 6-foot-7,” Bush said, via ESPN.com. “There’s no more pushing him around anymore. He can hang with me. At some point in time, the little brother always grows up and ends up being the bigger brother.”
