Reggie Bush questionable for action Thursday

The New Orleans Saints are not giving a firm indication one way or the other whether or not running back Reggie Bush will make an anticipated return to action Thursday when they play at Dallas.

Bush is limited as questionable on the injury report. The expectation by many was that he would play this past Sunday when the Saints hosted the Seattle Seahawks at the Superdome. He’s been out since suffering a cracked fibula in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, an injury that did not require surgery.

According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Bush said he feels good but didn’t want to make a prediction on his availability for a game that a couple weeks ago looked like a walk-over. Now, the Cowboys are competitive under interim head coach Jason Garrett and the Saints need to keep pace in the NFC South where the Atlanta Falcons head the pack with an 8-2 record. The Saints will also be without running backs Pierre Thomas and Ladell Betts.
