Report: Ahmad Bradshaw has bone marrow injected into foot

With Brandon Jacobs gone and Ahmad Bradshaw still dealing with a foot issue that hampered him last season, you have to wonder if the New York Giants will be seeking a running back in the first few rounds of the draft.

Bradshaw remains on the mend, according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York. He reports that Bradshaw recently had an injection of bone marrow from his hip put into his foot to enhance the healing process. Per the report, Bradshaw expects to rest for three months.

Bradshaw’s expectation is to be ready for the start of training camp, and he’d like to carry a bigger workload for the defending Super Bowl champions. But it would be risky of the Giants at this point to count on Bradshaw being that back for them. That makes the draft, a place where the Giants will likely be seeking help at linebacker, a place to turn for a young running back.
