Report: Bengals snag ex-Cowboy Newman
The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms on a deal with veteran cornerback Terence Newman, according to Dion Caputi of NFL Draft Update.
Newman had 53 tackles and four interceptions last season, but was part of a Cowboys secondary that struggledd at times last season.
The Cowboys released him in mid-March, and he made a visit to the Bengals shortly after that.
Newman, Dallas' first-round pick in 2003, had spent his entire NFL career with the Cowboys up until his release. He has 32 career interceptions.
