Report: Bidwills will attend Gabbert's pro day next week
Are the Arizona Cardinals zeroing in on Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert with his pro day a little more than a week away?
Dave Matter of the Columbia Daily Tribune reports via Twitter that the Cardinals are expected to have a “full-court press” on Gabbert at his pro day March 17 on the school’s campus in Columbia, Mo. Per Matter, one or more of the Bidwills is expected to be in attendance.
The Cardinals have desperate need for a quarterback and right now there are wide-ranging opinions about where Gabbert, who entered the draft with one year of eligibility remaining, and Auburn’s Cam Newton will go.
If the Cincinnati Bengals wind up parting ways with veteran Carson Palmer, four of the top five teams in the draft need a quarterback and that’s excluding the Denver Broncos, who pick second, and really have no idea what they have in Tim Tebow.
Getting the quarterback situation resolved is paramount if the Cardinals hope to retain wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald for the long haul.
