Report: Broncos, Cards lead race for Manning
Peyton Manning has narrowed his choice of teams with the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals leading the way according to a report from ESPN.com.
Manning visited Friday with the Broncos and vice president John Elway, and then on Saturday with the Cardinals.
One source indicated that Manning's gut feeling was with the Broncos, but Cardinals president Michael Bidwell appears determined to do what it takes to land the star quarterback. The fact that Manning and Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt are close could work in Arizona's favor.
Manning could still meet with the Miami Dolphins, but the report says they are not has high on his list as Denver or Arizona.
The Seattle Seahawks also want to schedule a meeting with Manning, but that has not yet been set up.
