Report: Bucs to hire Yarber as receivers coach

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are putting the finishing touches on their offensive coaching staff as Pewter Report reports that Eric Yarber will be hired as the team’s wide receivers coach, replacing well-respected Richard Mann, who left to take a job with the Washington Redskins.

The Bucs hired quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt earlier in the week, and now have a receivers coach who is familiar with offensive coordinator Greg Olson. Yarber and Olson have ties going back to the University of Idaho in the mid-1990’s.

Yarber, who played for the Redskins, most recently coached at Arizona State. He’s also spent time at Washington, Oregon State and UNLV and had a two-year run with the San Francisco 49ers.
