Report: Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson had hip surgery

Veteran Arizona Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson has undergone surgery to repair an abductor tear.

The news, reported by Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports 910 in Phoenix, is that Wilson played the entire 2010 season with the hip injury.

The Cardinals had significant problems on defense and they’re hoping the arrival of Ray Horton as the team’s new defensive coordinator will turn things around. Wilson has consistently been one of the team’s top performers on defense.
