Report: Dolphins, Browns pursuing Flynn

In any normal off-season, the pursuit of Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn would be one of the hotter story lines from the early part of free agency.

But with Peyton Manning a free agent, this is anything but a normal off-season.

Nonetheless, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that Flynn is attracting suitors in the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns. Miami, which is still on the periphery of the Manning chase, would appear to be the best fit, given his Green Bay ties to Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin.

But the Browns, having missed out on Robert Griffin III because of the Redskins trade with the Rams for the No. 2 overall pick, need to make some sort of splash at the quarterback position as well.
