Report: Don't expect anything from court today

Eleven days after granting NFL owners a temporary stay, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals is unlikely to make a ruling.

Judy Battista of the New York Times reports that those expecting football news from the court room today will have to wait, at least one more day. Many expected a ruling at some point last week.

Per Battista’s Twitter account, today is a travel day for the three judges involved in the appeal to reach other cities in the circuit. They are based in St. Louis.

So, for another day the owners and players will have to hurry up and wait for a decision as the lockout nears the two-month mark.
