Report: Eagles could fly north during the season
The Rogers Centre in Toronto was packed with Chicago Bears fans last season when they played the Buffalo Bills there in the regular season.
The stadium could be overrun with Philadelphia Eagles fans this time around. Greg Brady of The Fan 590 in Toronto reports that the Bills will host the Eagles in November in Buffalo’s annual regular season game played north of the border.
Ticket sales in Toronto were sluggish in previous years before the Bears played there. Eagles fans would likely travel well if for no other reason than to go shopping for Cuban cigars. Per Brady, the belief is the game will be played Nov. 13 or Nov. 20.
The NFL will release the 2011 schedule at 7 p.m. EDT.
